Morley Place visit Westminster and Downing Street

On Friday 20th June, the Morley Place Pupil Parliament, along with Mr Duncan, Mrs Shaw and Mrs Bailey, took part in a unique visit to London.
During the day, we visited key landmarks such as: Buckingham Palace, The Mall and the Horse Guards, before completing a tour of the Houses of Parliament. Pupils saw first hand a debate in the House of Commons and protesters in Parliament Square.
We also met with John Healey MP afterwards for a short Q&A session which was followed by a visit to 10 Downing Street.
It was a special day in which our pupils represented our school and community impeccably.
Here are a few photos from the day!
